The Ilkley Incline, Uphill Race
The Ilkley Incline is an uphill-only race, inaugurated in 2002. The generous prize list includes donations from Complete Runner and The Bicycle Shop, Skipton, plus giant marrows for the winners, and this friendly race attracts fell runners and road runners alike. In 2009 we had a record field, with 73 finishers.

- FRA CS (Category C, Short) fell race - 1 mile, 560' climb, uphill only
- Start at foot of Keighley Road at junction with Wells Road, GR SE 114469
Google Map - Follow tarmac road then good track uphill
- Start at 7pm, registration from 6pm at Start
- £1.50 entry on the day only
- Team competitions - men 4 runners, ladies 3 runners
- Age 15+
- Prizegiving immediately after race. OVER 20 prizes, for categories M/F U18-V70
