Ilkley Moor junior fell races
Junior Ilkley Harriers, established 2003

The Ilkley Moor fell race was the first race that Ilkley Harriers offered junior races at, in February 2003.

The 2013 races were a fantastic success with a record 210 competitors.The day was perfect for racing but parts of the course were still a little boggy. On the day we made one mistake with the U10 boys results - 3rd place should have been given to Joe Bramham Butts of Ilkley - Really sorry that you didn't have your name called out at the prizegiving and receive the applause of those watching. There was one course record - Ben Green from Rossendale broke the U12 record by 17 secs. Thank you to everyone who supported the races and to all the many helpers on the day. Also thank you to the Ilkley runners who forfeited having a goody bag as we only had 200!!.

Entry on the day only, £1, registration open 9.30am
U8 (min age 6 on 1 Jan 2013), 0.5 mile
U10/U12/U14, 1 mile
U16, 2 miles (2 laps) - U14's may do the two mile race providing they speak to the organiser first.
U18, 2 mile Challenge (2 laps) - run with the U16's. NO prizes but a goody bag at the finish.
Start on the grass near Wells Road, Ilkley GR 115470 - streetmap.co.uk
Toilet facilities in car park.
Ilkley Harriers Junior club Championship race - Phil Dean Trophies to be presented to first U10. U12, U14 & U16 girl and boy.
Lots of prizes!
Prizegiving at 11.35 - directly after the senior race start.
